Local Fixer

I am an experienced and well-known journalist with a long career in current affairs programmes and television news in Finland.

My specialties are presenting and hosting live broadcasts, as well as broadcast script writing, news reporting and directing short documentaries.

At the beginning of my career I worked in newspapers and radio, before working in tv.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the Department of Social Sciences at the University of Tampere.

After a 34-year career working for Finland´s national public service media, YLE, as well as for MTV3 News, I am currently embarking on a new career as a freelance journalist.

I am happy to offer my broad experience and extremely large number of contacts in the role of local fixer here in Finland. And more particularly, in Tampere (200 kilometers from Helsinki), where I live with my family.

My working languages are Finnish and English. Jag har också studerat svenska – y también hablo un pocito de español.
